Special Awards
Each year at the Minnesota State Fair, various awards are given to herds and breeders, from the pool of those exhibiting at the open show. These highlight a number of attributes that showcase the best of us and give an extra element of fun to the show. The G.O.A.T. Award is chosen by the MDGA board while the Rookie of the Year and Herdsmanship Awards are chosen by the State Fair Dairy Goat Superintendent.
